You’ll Love How Everything Comes Together - Traditionally a bridal session is scheduled two months ahead of the wedding day (bridal photos are often used for large prints of the bride or the couple displayed at the wedding reception). This makes it a fantastic opportunity to do a trial run with your hair and makeup team before the wedding and finalize your bridal look. Your florist might also offer a bridal bouquet so you can see how your arrangement looks and feels in photos.
4. Get Your Fit Checked - A lot of brides aren’t used to getting around in their dress (especially large ball gowns or mermaid dresses), so your bridal session is a chance to do a crash course in finishing school. You can get used to the unique quirks of your dress: how you move in it, how it gets bustled, and maybe the best way to use the washroom while enrobed in 50 yards of fabric. Spending a little longer in your dress can also give you a last minute sense of how well it’s fitting and if you’ll need any additional alterations before the wedding day.

Practice Posing Perfection - Sure your Boston engagement session might have been a crash course in posing, the bridal session will focus on you and give you some of the right tools to stand around and look good. It’s also nice to ease into being comfortable in front of the camera and getting to be the center of attention.

Most couples experience the day as kind of a warm, happy blur.
