Brewster Wedding: Sarah and Tom
Late March is risky for a Cape Cod Wedding, but as Sarah and Tom stood in front of their gathered family and friends at the Brewster Ladies' Library they knew it had been a risk worth taking.
The sky outside was a fierce gray, threatening rain and there was a biting chill in the air. Inside of the library it was warm and full of the bright cheer of spring as the couple tied their lives together in marriage. After the short ceremony, the guests were invited to enjoy dessert (including several different sorts of cake). During the reception the bride and groom slipped away to explore the library for photographic opportunities. Nestled in the back we found the perfect place, a cozy reading room dominated by a fireplace and stained glass window that hearkened back to when the library had first been built by sailors wives and daughters.
The couple also visited Breakwater Beach for bridal portraits against the drama of the wintry bay before rejoining the party at the bride's parents house nearby. It's always a treat to have a couple willing to brave some of Cape Cod's less pleasant weather in order to take advantage of some of the striking seascapes. So much of what we do at Ryan Richardson Photography are these close, intimate moments during a wedding that even wading in the icy Atlantic is a treat to get some amazing wedding photography.
So congratulations to Sarah and Tom on their beautiful Cape Cod Wedding.
