How long is it going to take to get your wedding photos back from Ryan Richardson Photography?

Couples can frequently wait on tenterhooks to see the pictures from their wedding. So what should you expect for delivery when you’re working with Ryan Richardson Photography.

Six to eight weeks. In a later post I’m going to talk about my editing process, but broadly speaking I want to set a realistic goal and have a little extra time in case something goes wrong or if a particular aspect of an edit just isn’t clicking. As things have gotten busier it’s allowed me to concentrate more on the wedding side of my business, which has been very helpful for reducing delivery times but it also opens up the chance that one problem could have a cascading effect. If things are running long, we try to have a sneak peek out after the first pass.

If something does go wrong and we’re anticipating a longer delivery timeline, we do try to be proactive with clients to let them know if there’s an issue and get out ahead of things rather than letting them sit and worry. In 2021 there was an issue with some of our print and album suppliers around the holidays, but we pushed up order deadlines in anticipation and everyone was able to get orders on time.
